“Reverse Archeology” Presented at New Jersey History and Historical Preservation Trust

In June of 2016 the team of grant participants presented the information gathered through the grant research for the New Jersey History and Historical Preservation Trust annual conference. The conference was held at Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ. The NJ History & Historic Preservation Conference attracts a broad audience of professionals, historic site and museum managers, historic preservation commission members, and more. The conference highlighted projects that showcase New Jersey’s heritage and present ways to build a place for history in every community. The session was popular and the conversation lively. The universality of the effects of a highway dividing a city was apparent as the group of professionals assembled related their local experiences.
